Welcome to Armaid.  We know that you, a loved one or a patient is suffering.  We hope that using Armaid will keep you, arm and hand healthy.

Hello.  My name is Terry Cross, inventor of Armaid.   In this introduction we’ll share with you important points about how repetitive strain problems can develop and how you can help yourself to maintain optimum strength and health.

Virtually all the muscles that make hand and grip movement possible are located in your forearm. Whenever you type on a computer, play a musical instrument hold a hammer - anything you use your hands for, these are the muscles that do the work.  These muscles are attached to bones by tendons at either end of your forearm, at the elbow and through the wrist into the hand and fingers.   When your muscles are healthy, the muscle fibers work and stretch like this with full range of motion.

Maintenance is necessary because over use, lack of stretching, or even life style choices and habits can create toxic and acid build up in the muscles.

Any of these or more factors can cause the muscles to shorten their range of motion causing tight and sore muscles.  Under these conditions the muscle cells can’t be nourished and cleansed properly.

Oxygen and nutrients can’t get into the muscle cells and metabolic waste products can’t get out, which tighten the muscles further.  And here’s what happens to your arm and hands as a result:  when the muscles chronically tighten and pull on where they are attached. Elbow and wrist joints can be pulled out of working alignment, compromising delicate nerve pathways causing pain, numbness, a burning sensation or loss of strength.

Armaid has been designed to relax and release tight muscle tissue by massaging and stretching muscles in the arm allowing proper balance between muscles, bones and nerves.

You are the key to your own health and using Armaid gives you the power to take control.  And now let’s show you how Armaid works….

The adjustable strap attaches Armaid to the thigh on the same side as the arm you are massaging.  If you are massaging your left arm, attach Armaid on your left thigh.

This is the adjustment cam. You can adjust the Armaid here for different sizes of arms and hands by moving the cam.

The handles are designed for the free hand to regulate the appropriate amount of pressure on the arm being massaged.  The amount of pressure is always determined by you.

The cushioned permanent roller gives the arm comfort and support while the therapy attachments do their job.

Armaid has three flexible interchangeable therapy attachments.  They insert here and here. The center portion of each attachment is the highest point of the arc and will always remain in contact with your muscle. When using Armaid, put your attention on that center ball as you massage your arm. There is another chapter on this video that shows how to change out the attachments.

Place the therapy attachment on the side of the arm you wish to massage.

Adjust the cam to the size of your arm.

Place your free hand on the handles.

Place your arm into Armaid.

Sit up straight and adjust the angle of Armaid to about 45 degrees from your thigh while keeping your shoulders and arms relaxed.

Please continue to watch all the video segments that we offer on the DVD and the website.  These are vitally important to understand what Armaid can do for you.

You’ll be surprised at how little effort and time is necessary to make a positive difference.

Remember, go slow and pay a lot of attention.  Enjoy the liberating experience Armaid gives you.  You will be bringing your arms and hands back to health and you’ll enjoy freedom of movement once again.
